Virtual Algebra Tiles

January 29, 2012

Here is just one valuable tool I found on the Algebra 4 All social network website. It is for virtual algebra tiles.

A social network made its public launch last weekend — and
it’s dedicated to algebra teachers.

At Algebra 4 All (A4A), teachers support one another in the
practice of teaching algebra. Check out, in particular, the
discussion forum, where teachers have already shared more than
250 of their own lesson plans; and the assortment of activities
in the resources area, many of which feature video clips on
implementation and original Flash applets, also available for
standalone use.

Begun in 2009 as a private social network established for the
Michigan Algebra for All Project, A4A now runs on Ning software
with support from four network moderators, all current or
former teachers.
